What is ALS ?
ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or better known as Charcot Disease) is a neurodegenerative disease of adult motorcycle neurons.
It causes progressive paralysis of all the muscles of the body. In the long run, the outcome is fatal.
Its origin is unknown even if some environmental and genetic factors are attributed.
Its incidence is about 100,000 new cases per year worldwide.
